I havent been bloggin much lately. Nights seem kinda busy I guess...I am working on new music for the Tim Posgate
HOrn Band. We will be making a record with the Great Tuba player Howard Johnson next year and
I am focusing on the new music right now.

I am enjoying the extra amount of time I spend with my boys these days and the last gasps of summer
before I have to start putting on those dreaded snow suits again!

Yesterday was one of those days I wonder why me...why am I so lucky. I had a great day with the family
in Kensington Market shopping, ...mmmm the cheese shop. (some great french Lait Creu...sp?)

The night was full too. Went to Shawna Dempsey and Lori Millans performance piece about smell. Really
neat scene and lots of interesting people there. Picked up my recordings of the Montreal Jazz Fest
gig with Jazzstory. (thanks to Kenny Kirkwood for doing the dubbing!!) I am very excited about
the way the band sounds these days...on the way home picked up the new Downbeat Magazine. There is
a nice mention of Jazzstory in James Hales review of the Vancouver fest.

Then came home and had a few good laughs watching Anger Management with Jack Nicholson and
Adam Sandler...not great but pretty funny.

I am truly lucky...I am very excited about the potential to continue in this direction in the near future
lots of time with family and friends and lots of great oppourtunities to present my music. (Dont forget
the Grand FEstival of Autumnal Happines is coming up the NOvember....stay tuned!!)
