quick blog...feeling the day running away already. Had a nice visit to a neigbours backyard this morning where he is rebuilding some old canoes. He just retired and seems very happy.

Me....hahahah...its all about me ....haha. Feeling out of touch with my guitar, too much business for this tour i guess. Glad its not bigger than it is.

Nice to hear people are getting to hear my cd on the radio these days, CKLN, Jazz fm,

had fun last night taking dylan to the Rex. He was grumpy this morning.

ok....done. by.

ps. Stan Brackage documentary is very beautiful and inspiring.

I always enjoy a little wireless time in the backyard when the weather gets nice. Kids are playing nicely alone together....(can't last...)

I found it hilarious (and somehow rewarding) to watch someone just on the other side of our fence step in a big pile of dog shit. Yes, it was rewarding as they are folks who don't keep their dog on a leash. No matter how well they think they might be watching their dog, I am sure they miss a few poos. may have even been their own dog's pile that they stepped in.

Somehow, I don't think the Dali Lama would have find the humour in this post.

I am watching the Memorial cup finals...the last chance at some great hockey. Not the best game I watched this week. Big kid weekend here, as always. Definitely looking for a little more adult time in my life...hmmmm...maybe a good long discussion about art, music etc. anyone?

Oh well, it all goes in phases. It was a fun gig Friday night in Hamilton. I think this Trio of Chris Cawthray's definitely has some potential. I am looking forward to opportunities it gives me to try some new things.

Sisters Euclid sounded extra good that night as they were backing up John Dickie. good singer...and wow what a backup band.

Nice to be out of town working. Really looking forward to being on the road a bit this summer.
