Hi Folks,
lovely summer day here in Toronto. We are having a small birthday party celebrating Leo's 4th today.

If you are in Toronto and looking for some killer jazz with a capital J, look no further. The Rex Hotel is always fun to hang at and the music should be great tonight and tommorrow. It features Don Menza, who was the saxophonist of one of my favourite jazz records from my earliest jazz-listening years and Pat LaBarabara who was one of my first and favourite teachers at York University.

Here are the details. (what a band!!)

Don Menza-tenor sax
Pat Labarbera-tenor sax
Joe Labarbera-drums
Steve Wallace-bass
Mark Eisenman-piano

9:30pm, The Rex Hotel
