I thought this newsletter I sent out today read a bit like a blog post so; here it is.

Hi folks did you hear about the American cheerleader squad that
collectively suffered from an undiagnosed sickness similar to Terrets?
Strange story on the radio today, but that is not why I send you this
email.

It is because I have a few fun gigs this month that I think you would enjoy.

The next two Saturdays (yes tomorrow!) I am playing at Full of Beans
1348 Dundas St. W, (about a block East of Dufferin) from 4-530pm.
Tommorrow is with a relatively new and exciting band I play in called
The Oolong 7. It is led by Jaimie McClyment on fiddle and also
features Ravi Naimpally on the tabla and Neil Hendry on acoustic
guitar. I will be playing the five-string banjo. If you are curious I
would say it would filed under World Music in your favourite record
store if and when we make a record someday.

The following Saturday, February 11 features my group Sorry Cousins.
Same time; 4-530 pm. Come hear Michael Herring on bass, Adrian Gross
on Mandolin and Darryl Poulsen on guitar. I will be playing the
African instrument we call the banjo.

Both these shows are PWYC. The coffee there is quite good and so are
the people that run the joint.

I will be playing with Ronley Teper's Lipliners at the Tranzac on
February 21. Probably about a 1030pm start.

And...in case I forget to tell you; Rob Clutton's band The
Cluttertones are making a rare appearance at the Tranzac on March 11
at 10pm.

Don't forget also music fans that one of my favourite bands Punch
Brothers (I have tickets and will be there for sure) are playing Lees
Palace on February 28.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading up until the very very last,
final, final, last, single word.
